Whether it's for fitness, fun or finding new friends, sport is a great way to indulge yourself for a few hours each week.  And all of our clubs offer great value for money!

We have activities that are not just indoor - at the rear of the Centre is the all-weather football pitch, which can be booked via the Parish Clerk, and our own skateboard park, which are free to use.

Archery

From the end of September until the end of April every year, Archery is right on target in the Long Room every Friday between 7.00pm and 10.00pm.  Call Margaret Bunyard on 01329 668081.

Badminton

Two clubs meet three times each week in the main hall.  For Wednesday and Sunday evenings call Pete Blunden on 01489 892858.

Ladies badminton group meet each Friday morning between 9.30am and 11.30am in the main hall.  Call Pam Thorn on 01489 893622 for more details.

Bowls, Wickham Indoor

This really friendly club meet on a Tuesday and Friday evening between the hours of 7.00pm and 10.00pm in the main hall.  They are always seeking new players so register your interest by calling Glo Fowler on 01489 881698.

Short Tennis

This informal group meet on a casual basis most Wednesdays between the hours of 9.30am and 11.30am in the main hall.  For more information about short tennis, this club is currently not looking for new members.

Karate

Karate at The Wickham Centre

Ken Skene on 07711 317834 would love to hear from you.  All ages and ability are welcome in the main hall on Wednesdays; between 5.30pm and 6.30pm the beginners group for 6 to 13 year olds takes place, then senior grades take the floor from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.  You can visit the website at www.wska.co.uk  If your child is between 6 and 13 years old, your child can join the beginners club and have a free introductory lesson.

Rifle Club
